ITAK Memebers With Dr. Jagat Shah
On Wednesday, January 29th 2020, we, ITAK members had dinner meet with Dr Jagat Shah, Former Trade Commissioner of Government of Manitoba, Canada in India, international market & investment strategist, an eminent authority on Import / Export issues and in programmes for poverty elimination, SME competitiveness, green buildings, Information technology adoption by SME’s etc.
During the conversation with us he encouraged our approach of entrepreneurship in IT in a two tier city like Kolhapur and how even firms with turnovers around 25 lacs can generate the business leads in US market and grow much faster than imagined. He also stated that we first need to learn to utilise the resources which we already have in effective manner like activating friendship connections in US, usage of effective website, usage social media like Linked in etc. All of this and many other aspects, he said, can be actually made understood in details in workshop for 2 days specially for IT firms in and around Kolhapur. Latter all the members continued the discussions while having a dinner and highly convinced members readily agreed for deciding on workshop at the earliest. Dr Jagat shah was duly felicitated by Mr. Shanataram Surve, ITAK President.
